It"s a an Official Network of Youth of Burkina Faso, a non-profit organization for the promotion of the objectives of sustainable development, the transition to a circular economy of the country according to the Five big bets for the circular economy of the African Circular Economy Alliance: - Food systems. - Packaging. - Built environment - Electronic - Fashion & Textile. - Renewable energy For the creation of more opportunities for circular projects led by young people, for awareness, capacity building at the national youth level on climate issues in the Sahelian context, the importance of eco-responsible behavior, the involvement and importance of young people taking action for its mitigation, for more of circularity, and for the protection of the environment.
Self Intro: Continuing Education ZONGO Kiswendsida Romuald is a Civil Engineer from BURKINA FASO, with a degree in Civil Engineering Design (Master) from the Ecole National des Travaux Publics of Ouagadougou, he has improved through certifications in international universities such as Columbia University in The City of New York, King"s College London in construction project management, and business management. He has worked on multiple projects in Civil Engineering / Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion (WASH), in the private sector as well as in humanitarian emergency NGOs, now as Technical Assistant Shelter and WASH at the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC). Through his dynamic nature and through his community involvement at the national and international level, he has contributed to creating positive change in local communities in Africa and internationally. Romuald was also a Fellow of the African Civic Engagement Academy (ACEA), initiated by the United States Department of State, supported by the University of Georgia, a civic engagement training and networking opportunity, with participants from the 54 countries of sub-Saharan Africa . Romuald is a positive change leader, passionate about circular economy, also interested in research in implementing circular policies, circular market, circular business models, he uses his knowledge to build circular homes of high quality, ecological, sustainable, accessible to all. To promote the implementation of the circular economy, it is organizing for October 2022 in Burkina Faso, the International Circular Economy conference in collaboration with International circular construction cluster Slovenia (ICCCluster) which will bring together European, African and global specialists of the circular economy which will discuss the challenges and benefits of the transition to a circular economy, in Burkina Faso, Africa.
