Description: In African countries, technology isn"t developing at the same rate as the western countries yet the world is literally running on technology entirely.
In a country like Uganda, technology is embraced at a slow rate, this is due to various factors among which include: Power instability, poverty, lack of knowledge on new technologies and so many more.
The project ""ICT in remote areas"" will;
1. Help set up ICT centres in communities for grown ups, so that they learn how to use computers and other technologies.
2. Help set up ICT labs in Primary and Secondary schools. These will help the students to learn about technology from a young age.
When this is done, the country will be up to date with information, this will bring about very many opportunities for people in the entire country, like innovations, creation of jobs, build infrastructure which will in turn support Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure as well as Sustainable cities and Communities.
