Description： We at Indore #ProjectWonder have taken a valuable step towards inclusion of, and helping the specially abled kids feel wanted and a part of the society - rather than the "special" treatment or the discrimination they face. We collaborated with the team EAY for morale check and icebreaker session ideas, with our respective institutes for help in volunteerism and Organization of such an event, and we have also been talking to SPA Bhopal professors for future collaborations. We aim to make more hubs in our city, state and region for the same to empower and educate youth on the same. This is focused on high schools - where we will provide resources and trainings on green jobs, climate education, etc.
Self Intro：I am a computational designer and a climate activist who works at grassroot levels with my own group that I co-lead. Together we are working to make inclusive and literate communities. This has been connected to the international movement for #ActOnYourClimateScience where I am the Asia Pacific /India Liaison working to launch the same opportunities/hubs across the states and then the regions.
This work ties in with the UN SDSN work where i researched to integrate my city"s informal vending areas and public domain. I work in research and policy for YOUNGO, MGCY and UNFPA. I have co-written reports on the topic of SCP for GLF Climate, YOUNGO"s COP26 reports, Africa Climate Week reports, further provided inputs/quotes to UNICEF digitization report, and consultation on the paper for use of Green and Blue Bonds for the means of the market as it relates to SCP.
